Swiss TV studios upgrade with GY-HD251 cameras

JVC is pleased to announce the use of its studio camera, the JVC GY-HD251, on the first broadcast from the new Teleclub sport studio in Volketswil, Switzerland. D

For the first time in Teleclub’s sports coverage history, all football and ice hockey matches are now able to be controlled from the central broadcasting centre, which featured two completely autonomous television studios with JVC GY-HD251 studio cameras.

Teleclub presenters welcome their viewers from all over Switzerland, in both German and French languages. Before the first broadcast in summer 2009, plenty of work was needed to bring Teleclub’s studios to life. Alessandro Marzullo’s construction team, from a company called Kitag, and DBenno Zimmermann’s engineering team from RingierTV did exceptionally well, building professional television studios with only two months for construction and installation.

Teleclub is proud of its new studios, which now deliver 160 days of fascinating sport each year. When initially choosing the GY-HM251 cameras, Teleclub relied on JVC’s experience to deliver a simple, professional broadcasting solution.
